Just how much do you love your car? Do you know that if a car is kept well maintained and serviced properly and highly at the correct interval it can last for over 300,000 miles and more?? Well listen up! A car that you like deserves the best treatment. This is why at Wallace Performance we don't use any old cheap semi-synthetic oils or cheap sludge that some other garages put in. We use 100% Fully synthetic oils on all our cars. We give advice on which grade of oil to use based on your daily driving as well as giving you advice on how to check the basics over your car like check the oil and water levels. To some people this is obvious but to some others they may not even know how to open the bonnet. When you come to get your car serviced please ask anything if you are not sure about your car. It is something that you can learn quite easily and can save you some hefty charges in the long term. At Wallace Performance we can deal with servicing of high powered vehicles as well as normal day to day runners. It is surprising and interesting to know that the normal runners generally require more attention to servicing and go through more wear than some higher powered engines. When a car is started, the oil is cold. If a car is driven from this cold start to get the shopping/pick up the kids and then drive back the engine is under a huge amount of strain. The oil has not had a chance to get up to temperature and therefore cannot do it's job to lubricate the engine. This is but one example of how and why we deal with a lot of normal cars. Our team of highly skilled technicians will take your vehicle in to service and carry out the routine checks and relevant fluid changes and then at the end inform you of any problems that the car may have. We will provide a full detailed estimate for you and this - with your permission - may be tackled during the day but more than likely we will book a slot that is convenient for you to take the vehicle back to have the work completed. You can also drop your car off in the evening before your service and collect it the following night. At your request we can have a taxi arranged to pick you up and take you to your chosen work place in the morning or evening. If you have any special requirements whatsoever please include this in the service request form so that we can quote you for this also.
