It depends on the service. A basic diagnostic code read takes around 30 minutes. A full systems diagnostic can take 1 to 2 hours. ECU remaps typically take 2 to 3 hours including before-and-after dyno runs. Custom exhaust builds can take 1 to 3 days depending on complexity. We always give you a realistic time estimate when you book.

ECU remapping can affect manufacturer warranty coverage. However, our remaps are fully reversible — we keep your original file on our secure server and can restore it at any time. Many of our customers choose to return to stock before dealer visits. We recommend checking your warranty terms if this is a concern.

Power gains vary by engine. A typical Stage 1 petrol remap delivers 15 to 30% more power and torque. Diesel engines often see 20 to 35% gains. Stage 2 gains are higher but require supporting hardware modifications such as an intercooler, downpipe, or intake. We provide honest, realistic figures during your consultation.

Absolutely. Our dyno is operated by trained technicians and every car is thoroughly inspected before a run. We check fluid levels, tyre condition, and security straps. The test itself is a controlled acceleration through the rev range — no more stressful than a spirited drive on the road.

We recommend checking alignment every 12 months or 12,000 miles. You should also have it checked after hitting a pothole or kerb, fitting new tyres, or installing suspension modifications. Lowered vehicles benefit from more frequent checks as geometry changes with ride height.

Four-wheel alignment refers to the full geometry check on all four wheels, covering camber, caster, toe, and thrust angle. Laser alignment is the measurement method we use — it delivers sub-millimetre accuracy using optical sensors. Yes, we specialise in modified vehicles. Our alignment equipment can handle a wide range of ride heights and our technicians understand the geometry implications of coilovers, camber plates, and adjustable arms. We can set your car to factory spec or a custom track setup.

We fabricate all custom exhausts from T304 stainless steel. It is corrosion-resistant, handles high temperatures well, and looks great for years. For the ultimate in durability and appearance, we can also offer T316 marine-grade stainless at a small premium.

Yes. All our services are backed by a workmanship guarantee. ECU remaps carry a lifetime file warranty — if you ever have issues with the map, we will diagnose and fix it free of charge. Custom exhausts carry a 2-year fabrication warranty. Diagnostics and alignment services are covered for 30 days.

We work on all makes and models — from everyday Fords and Vauxhalls to high-end German and Japanese performance cars. Our diagnostic equipment covers all major manufacturer protocols. If we encounter a particularly rare system, we have specialist contacts and resources to get the job done.

Not always, but it is highly recommended. A new exhaust changes the engine's breathing characteristics, which can affect air-fuel ratios and timing. A remap ensures the ECU is calibrated to take advantage of the improved flow. We offer combined exhaust and remap packages with a discount.

Warning lights on the dashboard are the most obvious sign, but not the only one. If your car feels sluggish, uses more fuel than usual, has rough idle, misfires, or makes unusual noises, a diagnostic check can identify the cause. We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers. For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit to secure parts or booking time. Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in advance.
