Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2025
1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Wallace Performance website and the services we provide at our garage. By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- "We", "us", "our" refers to Wallace Performance.
- "You", "your", "customer" refers to the individual or entity using our services.
- "Services" refers to all garage services we offer, including diagnostics, tuning, alignment, exhaust fabrication, and related work.
- "Vehicle" refers to any car, van, or motor vehicle brought to our premises for service.
3. Service Booking and Appointments
All service bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, equipment availability, or staff illness. We will notify you as soon as possible if a reschedule is necessary.
- Appointments can be made by phone, email, or through our website contact form.
- We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a deposit being required for future bookings.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices quoted are estimates unless confirmed in writing as a fixed-price agreement. Final invoices may differ from initial quotes if additional work is required or if the scope of work changes during service.
- We will always seek your approval before undertaking work that exceeds the original quote by more than 10%.
- Payment is due in full upon collection of the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers.
- Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received and cleared.
5. Deposits and Upfront Payments
For large or bespoke jobs — including custom exhaust builds, extensive remapping sessions, and major fabrication work — we may require a deposit of up to 50% before work begins. This deposit is non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has commenced, unless we are unable to complete the agreed work.
6. Vehicle Collection and Storage
Vehicles must be collected within 3 working days of completion. Vehicles left on our premises beyond this period may incur a storage charge of £25 per day.
We take reasonable care of vehicles on our premises but cannot accept liability for loss or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, theft, flood, or vandalism. We recommend customers maintain comprehensive insurance coverage.
7. ECU Remapping and Warranty
Our ECU remapping service includes a lifetime file warranty. This covers defects in the calibration file itself, not mechanical failures, component wear, or damage caused by external factors.
- All original ECU files are backed up and can be restored at any time.
- Returning to stock does not constitute a refund.
- Remapping may affect manufacturer warranty coverage. We recommend checking your warranty terms before proceeding.
- We are not liable for pre-existing mechanical conditions that become apparent after remapping.
8. Custom Fabrication Work
Custom exhaust and fabrication work is built to agreed specifications. Once fabrication has begun, changes to the design may incur additional charges.
- Custom exhaust systems carry a 2-year fabrication warranty covering welds, fitment, and material defects under normal use.
- This warranty does not cover damage from impact, corrosion due to lack of maintenance, or misuse.
- Sound preference is subjective. While we aim to meet your expectations, we cannot guarantee a specific sound level or tone will match your personal preference exactly.
9. Liability
Our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of earnings, alternative transport costs, or depreciation in vehicle value, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. If you believe a service has not been carried out with reasonable care and skill, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and remedy the issue.
11. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Wallace Performance and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
